Headington Partners

Headington partners make a $50 monthly investment in the work of the Headington Institute. It is an investment that allows us to provide resources and programs such as online training, counseling, and free regional workshops for those who need them most, and who can least afford to pay--the humanitarian workers based in the developing world.

Personal investment

As a Headington Partner you choose where to invest your monthly gift.

  1. Urgent need fund: Headington will use this gift where it is most urgently needed.
  2. Online resources fund: Invest in helping us provide free online resources such as online training and the CARD Directory — resources that are used by the more than 25,000 monthly visitors to our website from around the world.
  3. Counseling and training services fund: Invest in helping us provide free counseling or training to humanitarian workers based in the developing world.

What will you receive?

  • An update from the Institute every six months based upon your area of investment. We want you to be part of our work as it unfolds.
  • An annual Live Call with Dr. James Guy, the President of the Institute, who will provide an update for Headington Partners and answer questions.
  • The knowledge that you are regularly investing in the work of humanitarian workers around the world… “As God has touched so many lives of the needy people through the humanitarian workers, so the Lord has touched you too and used you to bless many lives of humanitarian workers. You have been a blessing to all the people here who have been suffering in silence. Thank you.”  (Workshop participant from Sudan)

The impact of your gift is magnified by the fact that you are investing with many others. Here is a look at some of the ways that your gift can help the Headington Institute support humanitarian workers worldwide:

IN ONE YEAR

1 Headington Partner can provide several sessions of counseling for a humanitarian worker suffering from burnout or post-traumatic stress.

5 Headington Partners can cover the costs of maintaining the CARD Directory (a free online database listing qualified counselors worldwide who are interested in assisting humanitarian workers)

10 Headington Partners can cover the costs of maintaining the Institute’s Online Training Program, which provides free online training modules and other resources that are downloaded thousands of times every month.

15 Headington Partners can cover all the costs to provide two days of free training on stress, trauma, and resilience to 70 humanitarian workers in Africa.
